Gavin has a car bed that he loves, so we thought. We moved him out of his crib into the car bed around June or July of last year. Every night, Gavin and I read books, say our prayers, turn on the music, and say good night. I then put up a gate in his doorway so that he can't get out of his room and go down the stairs. I know that it sounds mean but he actually gets upset if it isn't in his doorway when he goes to bed. At least twice before Kerry and I go to bed, Gavin is at the doorway between the gate and door trying to go to sleep. The door is shut somewhat around him-if that makes sense at all. Then at least once a night, we have to put him back in bed because he has gotten up in the middle of the night to go to sleep at the gate again. Lastly, he does it one more time in the morning before he gets up for the day. We do not have a clue why he gets up so many times to go to sleep on the hard floor with no covers. You are probably thinking why not just let him sleep by the gate but it breaks my heart to see him sleeping there so we put him back in bed everytime. Anyone have any clues to why he might do this.
I have started to exercise. I am hoping that it will perks my energy for the kids and lose my baby weight. I will let you know how it goes. I don't know if I will ever have enough energy for the kids but it is worth the shot.
