Screening
Gavin was screened yesterday to make sure that he was up to par for his age group. A lady from the child development department at OSF St. Joseph Hospital tested Gavin. She tested him on his ability to color, throw a ball, stack blocks, count, kick a ball, knowledge of animals, and his language. He is above average on language which is great and is on target on the rest of his abilities. They had screens up to divide all of the groups and he kept on hearing other people talk and kept asking, "What's that noise?" Of course, then he had to go see what the noise was. He played ball very well and that is all that he really wanted to play with. He will be tested in the fall to see if he would be eligible to go to pre-school. The lady from the hospital said this was like a pre-screening so that if Gavin was lacking in some areas that we could work on those areas and then get tested again in the fall. He is growing up so quickly!! Too quickly at times.

Gramma,
we had such a great time with the boys. Gavin didn't want to go to sleep for his nap, but that's just being a boy. Griffin slept on Grandpa's lap most of the time. But he did play for awhile on the floor. Gavin and I make mac # cheece cause that's what he wanted. you have such great kids, just like their grandma.
