"Stay Home"

Recently when Gavin has been getting up in the morning he is really really crabby. He cries, kicks his feet, and usually doesn't want to be interrupted in throwing his temper tantrum. So I continue to get ready and hope that he is in a better mood soon before I have to leave for work. At least once or twice before work, he will tell me, "I crabby and tired, I go back to sleep." I only wish that he would sleep a little longer. Since he likes to know ahead time what we are doing, I like to let him know that we are leaving and where he is going for the day. Lately, he has insisted on staying home with "Burpy". I tell him that he can't stay home with the dog and he gets so upset. I told him that Burpy can't change your diaper, feed you, put you to nap, or do anything but play with you. Gavin tells me, "Okay!". When it is time to go, Gavin is back upset again because he so wants to stay home with Burpy.
