- a bed with covers and blankets to keep my family warm throughout the cold night and morning
- a warm home to wake up in with heat
- warm or hot water to take a bath or shower in
- a vehicle that has heat in it
- the ability to go out and start the van and leave it running so that it will heat up without worrying about someone coming to take it
- clothing that my entire family can layer on so we stay warm
- a coat, gloves, and hat for my entire family
- to work indoors instead of not indoors
- the heater that is under my desk
- hot chocolate and hot coffee to drink all day long if I wish to do so
- a warm meal to eat
I think of the people that don't have these things as I do and I feel so sorry for them especially during these extreme cold winter months. My family and I are so blessed not just because we have each other but because we have so much more than that.

Thats awesome! I love it! I too am very thankful for what we have especially during this type of weather!!! Its so sad to think that there are people that do not have heat and coats during the winter. We are definately very blessed:)
Sara, you have it right. I am so thankful for everything that has been provided for me and my family and friends, especially in this cold weather. I do think of those who are less fortunate and go without many of the basic needs of life...and to think that I have been blessed with so much..
