Rain Day

When we have tried to swim two days in a row and could not because of the storms and the rain that goes with it, you should just play in the rain. And that is just what Gavin and Griffin did.
After Mama Dolphin and Papa Steeler gave Gavin the idea to run over to the neighbor's place where there was water pouring out of the gutter and stand under it. He surprised me by even doing it let alone he did it twice. It was so funny and he couldn't stop laughing himself either.

Must have been a little cold....

Then onto running in the puddles.....

Griffin waited patiently until they rain stopped but then he was happy to join Gavin in the puddle splashing.

Griffin loved to chase Gavin. Honestly Griffy is back there you just can't see him. Shockingly...

The rain stopped so we jumped into the pool as soon as possible thinking we would have a full afternoon of playing in the pool. Gavin jumped right in before anyone got there feet wet. I love that he is getting to love the water. It makes this Momma very happy because we love the water. Griffin thankfully didn't take very long this time to get in either. We swam until we saw this and thought we better get out.....

that followed another thunderstorm. We decided that this storm we would sit and swing on the porch rather than play.

There nothing like swinging at the end of the day and watching a storm roll by....
