Two Wheels

On Tuesday, I arrived at the boys' babysitter house to pick them up. We had seen a bike when we arrived at daycare that morning but I just thought it was a one of the boy's bike to ride home later that day. After not being able to find Gavin on his usual spot on top of the play set, I met Gavin coming to me on a bike with no training wheels and a HUGE grin on his face. I was just in complete shock and thrilled. I had no clue that our daycare provider was going to work with him on it, let alone he accomplished it within the first or second try. She started him in the grass because if he falls then it doesn't hurt because it teaches them to gain control. It is so great!! We still have a lot to practice to do but I can't believe it. It was a good thing that she started working with him on it because I would have held off for a little longer because it means that he is growing up. Man, time is just flying by.
