Grandma Ruth
We found out on Thursday from the doctor that Grandma's cancer is spreading and in not curable. They placed her on Hospice to make her comfortable. She has been in pain so I'm very thankful she is becoming more comfortable. She is at peace with passing away. She says she will be the first to see her son that passed away 20 some years ago. We just don't want her to suffer at all. Grandma is very near and dear to my heart. I spend lots of time with her during my younger years learning how to bake, sew, read, and anything else she could think of. When I got older she helped me take care of our boys. The boys love her and she has taught them the same things she taught me when I was younger. We have also spend many years farming together which we have had a lot of fun doing. The blessing of it all is that we get to spend some quality time with her before she passes away. Although it will be extremely hard we all know she is going to go to a better place.
