This year we had a ton of corn and I mean tons of corn. Dad planted four small rows of sweet corn for me to freeze and oh man did it produce this year. Last year all the racoons got to the sweet corn before anyone could pick it. It was a very sad deal but this year made up for it. We started on a Sunday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. and finished by 10:30 p.m. We filled two baby plastic baby pools full of corn. I had some amazing help this year and without them I wouldn't have been able to accomplish any of it. It is also delicious. The boys were eating it right out of the field as long as it didn't have any worms.
My awesome, amazing, and always beautiful helper... She and her kids are always up for anything....
Garrett stole this off the counter to eat for himself.
The finish product..... 97 quart bags of delicious, sweet corn.
