Happy 5th birthday Griffin (yesterday)!!! I remember when he was born and the first thing everyone said was that he was a "big" boy. You really won't know it now. He is my son that still loves to gives hugs and kisses. He also doesn't mind when I take a thousand pictures which is an added bonus. This past year, he just took off on his bike without really any help. Kerry showed him how to start the pedals and then that was all she wrote. He says when he grows up he would like to be a farmer. I love that he still loves his momma best although he has started to want his daddy at times which is super cute. He would spend hours upon hours racing or farming or both. He still is a little bit of a picky eater but is getting a lot better, he LOVES milk. More days then not, he really still needs a nap but he is growing out of them soon. He wants to be with his older brother all of the time and can't wait for him to get home from school so they can play together at daycare. He is a really great helper and an amazing brother both to Gavin and Garrett. We just love him so very much.
His actually birthday was a little bit crazy. Soccer is in full swing for us. This is Griffin's first year and Gavin is on a separate team and age group. A lot of their games are at the same time so we are going back and forth between games. Anyways, Griffin took cookies to school. They loved them. We gave him a bike that actually fits him for his birthday. He was excited.
Riding like a pro...
He also received a remote control helicopter from Papa 4 wheeler which he also loves. You can see it in the picture on the right hand side just above the cars in the background.
In the picture below, it was trying to take off. It flies very high for 8 to 10 minutes and then it needs charged. It is a lot of fun from what I gather. I haven't tried it out yet.
Hanging outside...
Obviously, it has Kerry's attention and Gavin's for that matter.
Look at that hair, he has the most hair of all our boys when they were that little. I think I might see a curl or two.
He wanted to play with the helicopter too.
We had french bread pizza and rice krispie treats for Griffin's birthday. He couldn't decide and since we were at soccer late, we did something quick. I think overall he had a great day at least that is what he told me.
