Last week was a little rough. Garrett started a high fever on Wednesday. Both the sitter and myself thought it might be teeth. He started to get his "eye" teeth. Wednesday evening it turned out he had 103.5 temp and started to throw up everything. Gavin started to throw up too so we thought for sure it was the flu. On Thursday his fever reached as high as 104.6 degrees. I didn't know what to do so I called his doctor. She told us to put him in a luke warm bath and continue with medicine so I did. In the night, he would get a super high fever but after medicine it would come down some. So thankful for medicine. He had several pretty terrible nights.
We had to wash his blankie from puke and when Kerry brought it up to him, this is what he did. He would just lay there with it. I got tons and tons of snuggle time with him. He later broke out in a very light rash.
It was a good five to six day ordeal and I can't remember the last time any of our boys were that sick since Gavin had RSV in the hospital 7 years ago.
Today he is back to normal. I love when he smiles and is happy happy boy!!!
Coming soon... Gavin's birthday post.
