Happy 7th Birthday, Gavin (Oct. 18th)

Gavin was thrilled to get a bike just like Griffin for his birthday.  Hopefully he will be able to ride it for a little bit longer before the cold really settles in.  Gavin is really taking off in first grade.  He enjoys school and excells in Math.  Daddy and I were not the least bit surprised by this. His new favorite word is "dude" and says it all of the time.  He is an amazing older brother to both Griffin and Garrett.  There are times when he is reading to them both, feeding Garrett, carrying Garrett around if I'm working on something, playing with Griffin, and the list continues to go on.  He has really become a Daddy's Boy.  He will do anything and everything he possibly can with Daddy just to be with him.  It is really cute.  From last year to this year, he has grown much taller.  Gavin is still very particular but we view that as a good thing.  He has a memory that last forever it seems.  If we can't remember something we ask him about it.  Gavin also has done very well at baseball and soccer.  It is so fun to watch him play both.  He has recently informed me that he is going to move to Florida and be a race car driver. It was a very few, short years ago it seems that God blessed us with this October blessing and we are so very thankful for him.  We love you, Gavin Lee.

On his birthday, he took treats to school.  We were able to have his favorite supper of Chicken Cord on Blue (sp?) pizza and lemon cake with cream cheese frosting.  He had a little bit of a difficult time blowing out his candles this year but he did get it done.
