Griffin's FIRST haircut

Yes, Griffin got his first haircut. Gavin has been getting his haircut for a quite some time with Kara. On Monday, Kara asked Griffin to get up in the chair after Gavin. I thought for sure he would fight it and get upset. I wasn't prepared at all because first I didn't know we were doing it that day and if I did think we were, I figured for sure he won't get up there. But he got up there just like he had done it for the past several months. There was no fuss or problems which was a relief and sad all at the same time. Yes, I'm an emotional mom. So he got the back of his hair cut off and some on top but thankfully the CURLS ARE STILL THERE. They are even cuter now if that is possible. I got to keep a couple of curls but he didn't want to take a picture afterwards. To give you an idea, when Griffin's hair was wet it went down to the middle of his back but later would curl up. As Kerry would say, It is about time. Much easier for the dad than the mom.
