Kilgus Dairy

A local dairy farm started processing it's own milk among other things and had an open house last Saturday. The boys and I decided to go out there to help support a local company, taste their milk, cheese, ice cream, and other great food, and see the animals. Gavin loved their chocolate milk, cheese, and other their jerky.

I had a half of a hamburger while the boys had a chocolate cookie, if you couldn't tell what they are eating.

Gavin with a baby Jersey calf.

Here are the boys with the BIG cows. Griffin was a little scared but Gavin wanted to pet them.

Their favorite were the goats. I think it was because they were their size and they walked right up to them.

Great time out on the farm. Note to self, have husband feeds boys before you go anywhere there is taste testing. I had to work this morning when went out to this dairy farm they hadn't had lunch so they kept on trying to eat all of the taste testing food, more than their allotted one or two pieces. It was really funny but very embarrassing. I knew that Gavin liked their milk when he asked me to buy a COUPLE of gallons.
