New Sleeping Arrangements

NO I don't mean for Kerry and I, I mean for Gavin and Griffin. Recently, after we read books, say prayers, and say our good nights, I tell Griffin to give Gavin a hug and get ready to go to bed. Griffin runs to Gavin's room and lays on the floor like he is saying his bed should be in Gavin's room. When I put him in his crib, he cries and screams for about 20 minutes and then finally lays down to go to sleep. He is Kerry's temper not mine. LOL Griffin just started doing this and it tears at me that he gets so upset to be in his own crib and room. We have never had a problem before with him crying or screaming when he goes to bed so it was a shock to us. So last night, I thought I would try something new. I set the pack n play in Gavin's room right next to their bunk beds. I figured what is the worst that could happen, they talk to each other for a while and then go to sleep. So I did our normal routine I do for Gavin in his room and include Griffin. When I walked out of the room, Griffin started to cry so I picked him up and place him in Gavin's bed right next to him. He was fine. A very short time later, Gavin was up and at the door trying to fall asleep and Griffin was having a good old time in the room. I thought this isn't going to work. So I put a movie on so both of them could see it from the bed and the pack n play. Griffin went right to sleep in the pack n play. A big sigh of relief but then after going up and down the stairs a few million times for Gavin due to him being very scared of the storm, he feel fast asleep in his bed all night long. Gavin woke up thrilled that he had a buddy to sleep with in his room. We will see how long this last.
