On Saturday night, there were some races on the ice at the Coliseum Center in Bloomington. We thought since the boys absolute love the races that they would love to go see these motorcycles, 4whelers, and go-karts that race on the ice. They actually love anything that has a motor that races. Surprise surprise! We got our tickets there and then waited from them to start the show. It was a little noiser than I had expected but I should have know better with it being an inclosed building. Griffy was a little scared at first but then he realized what they were going to do and got really excited. The motorcycles started the show off with a burn out in the corner and then around they went to the starting line. They were really amazing to watch. I was just shocked how they stayed on two wheels the whole time. The boys didn't make a peep the whole time other then to ask when the next round of motor vehicles were coming out. Obviously they just wanted them to continue on and on and on without a break. Gavin even got into the YMCA song and did the letters with his arms. It was so cute. He also tried to get a T-shirt that they were shooting into the crowd but it just didn't get to him. It went to a person three rows ahead of us. Griffin bounced his head to all of the music that was played which by the way they played my song TWICE. I was so excited.
I think both of their favorites were the 4 wheelers but let's get real they loved it all. The program also raced go-karts on the ice but they only had 3 of them and they had the most difficult time due to spinning out all of the time. I think the funniest motor vehicles of the night were they raced bar stools. It might be one of the cases where you have to see to think it was funny but it was hilarious. We got there at 7:00 pm and didn't walk out until 11:00 pm so needless to say it was a long night but very worth going to. The boys were awesome the whole time and they watched the entire program. I could tell they really loved it! Add bonus no one complained once.
