Then it was into the play area, that seems to get more and more expensive each year, but they both played well. The weather was perfect for the day and you could tell from the crowd that was there. The slides were one of the favorites for Gavin.
While the train was the favorite for Griffin.... He likes to be in charge.

Climbing up so he could go down the slide....

They added a new part to the play area which is awesome and so perfect for our family. It was a race track with pedal bikes. Of course Kerry and I had to make a race out of it so I took Griffin while Kerry took Gavin. The first lap Kerry passed me on the inside and on the second lap I took the corner to quickly to try to catch up with them and Griffin fell out. At the time, he wasn't in the front part but sitting next to me. He was fine and I thought for sure he won't want to finish the lap but he climbed in front (as seen in the picture) and was ready to go. I felt like a horrible mom but he wanted to finish the lap and he held on the rest of the time. We thought it was really fun.

They wanted to try their own pedal car.
Griffin didn't really pedal but we did push him around so he could experience it all.
This year Gavin rode the barrell ride and Griffin didn't want any part of it. Griffin wanted me to ride but there is a weight limit so I couldn't. I was thrilled to see Gavin wanted to ride though.

We had a quick bite to eat there and then we saved the store and buying of stuff for almost the very last part of it. We got the boys two toy monster trucks for being such great little boys. We got some apples to make homemade applesauce then we got mums and pumpkins. I absolutely love fall and all the beautiful colors that go with it. It is my favorite season. We also let the boys pick out a little pumpkin so that we can paint them. Of course, saving the best for last, the annual picture of the boys with all the pumpkins and fall scenery. They were not thrilled but they did cooperate with me (sort of).
I think they are so use to me taking pictures now because when I hold up the camera, they automatically say "CHEESE!". It was such a beautiful day and an awesome family day although everyone didn't feel totally up to par. The boys slept most of the entire way home.

I think we are going sometime this week, and I can't wait to take Brayden now that he is old enough to walk around!
