Saturday started our first of the baseball seaason for Gavin. He started by practicing throwing back and forth with his teammates.
The started the game and he was up third to bat. This is the first time that they can hit from the coach rather than a tee. He ended up having to hit off of the tee the first time he was up to bat
but the second and third times he really wacked the ball.
It really didn't take long for him to warm up.
Tonight Griffin had his first game. Grandpa Old Tractor enjoys holding Garrett for me while I take pictures. I had several people tell me today that Garrett is really start to look like a Bittner. Soon I'm going to take pictures with Papa 4 Wheeler, myself, and Kerry all by Garrett to see who he does look like. Although he does look a lot like Kerry's baby pictures. Anyways...
Waiting to take off on second base...
Ready and waiting....
Running home....
Still running....
This age group is pretty funny to watch. About ten of them go after the ball and then sometimes they are not sure where to throw the ball. We are lucky if that person is watching for the ball to be thrown if they do throw it. They are so cute though and so very excited. Griffin woke up this morning saying, "Today is T-ball day MOM." Yep buddy it was. Griffin was so excited when he hit the ball off of the time and then ran his little heart out to first base. He had a ball and enjoyed it all. It was an added bonus he didn't put the dirt in his glove and then put the glove on his head. These are the good times....
