Swimming

Gavin has really taken a "love" to water.  He is our little fishy.  Our friends have a nice little pool and both of the boys can touch the bottom which they both love.  And so do I because then I don't worry as much about them in the water.  Although it takes a long time for Griffin to warm up to the water, once he does, it is hard to get him out of it.
They will even swim if it is ice cold water.  It really doesn't matter to them at all.
A week of so ago we headed over to Papa Steeler and Mama Dolphin's house to swim.  I just couldn't wait to get Garrett in the water.  He loves his bath so I thought he might like the pool.  This is Garrett's first pool picture.  He did awesome considering the water wasn't the warmest and the sun had gone under a cloud for a long while.
Then Garrett decided it was time for a little nap.  Swimming really wore him out.   Bummer, I didn't get any pictures of Griffin but he did get in this day and hung on for dear life to me.  He likes it a lot better when he can touch the bottom even though he has a life vest on.  I don't blame him.  I'm going to have to get him in those swimming lessons soon!!
I love that the boys enjoy the water because it is one of my favorite things to do in the summer time.  I'm hoping it is one of their favorite things to do too.
