Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday we had quite the day. We started off at the Easter Egg Hunt at Caterpillar Union hall. I was a little nervous the boys won't know what to do but with a little guidance, the boys took charge. Griffin became a pro at it by the end and really started picking up all of the eggs without a problem. The boys loved that they got candy and a little present. It was so nice. After the Easter Egg Hunt, we ate at the pancake and sausage breakfast for the local ambulance service. The boys hardly ate but we sure enjoyed it and I didn't have to make a meal. Yeah! From there we went directly to Mitsubishi Union Hall for their Easter Egg Hunt. They had several games for the boys to play inside the building and a face painting. Griffin was too young and Gavin only wanted his arm painted. They won prizes for a "cake" walk game which Gavin and Griffin both enjoyed as well. Griffy legs were a little short to keep up the pace but he did so well. It was such a great time. They both were really afraid of the Easter Bunny so anytime he came around I had to make sure I was close by because cry was soon to follow. Maybe next year they will like him and Santa. I read a book about an Easter Egg Hunt and the Easter Bunny the night before but it must not have mattered because they were still scared. We made a short stop at the mall for some Easter presents and then stopped at Papa 4 Wheeler's house for a quick 4 wheeler ride. It was a little cold so we got off early. I have discovered they both riding in the rough, bumpy field because it is rather fun.
