The boys did so well with the Easter egg hunt, just taking off without even needing a big, grow up hand from Mom or Dad this time around for help. Just showing Mommy they are growing up way too quickly. Ready...Set...Hunt....

Griffin reaching deep to get the lucky one... Gavin moved on quickly to the next lucky egg.

Gavin's white sack just kept filling higher and higher with fun, filled Easter eggs.

This flower bed just tucked behind the house was a perfect place for all those colorful filled eggs to hide. The boys didn't realize there were several eggs still hidden back there.

After emptying their filled eggs into their Easter baskets, we just had to hid them one more time for their pleasure. They took charge after the eggs even though there was no more goodies on the inside to devour. After sitting to enjoy the sweet taste of all the goodies, another round of swinging was in store.

The feeling of flying free in the air has overcome my boys and they just love the ride. I think they enjoy the tickle in the tummy as they ride to the sky and back down.

We ended our Saturday listening to little boys chasing each other and their new friend, Trinity, all around the house before heading home for a good nights sleep. All this playing around, can make for a great sleeping recipe.
Easter morning started with a few Easter presents from the Easter bunny. (Funny I didn't get a picture of that). I love to listen to the laughs of the boys as they discover that the Easter bunny knew that Gavin was going to be starting T-Ball and would need a bat, mitt, and balls and how he knew that Griffin has discovered a new love for colorful paints with paper and crayons. We had to rush to the table to start our coloring before staring our morning.
After church, Papa 4 wheeler and Kathy's house we went. Mama Kat loves to hide their Easter baskets so the boys took off to find their next awaiting surprise for them. Soon they did discovered their new BIG wheels or as Gavin would like to call them "three wheelers or hot wheels). We had to break away all the boys so we could enjoy a brunch of french toast, fruit, and cinnamon rolls. But we couldn't keep them away for long and out the door they went with the Big wheels to follow each other around and around and around just like the race track.
It was a wee bit windy out...
Although we may have to add blocks on Griffin's so that he can reach those pedals that are so far away, they really enjoyed these three wheeled things. Nothing like a good chase down from your big brother or

a helpful Daddy to push you around to make you speed up and make an inside pass by.
And then............. onto El Paso for just another Easter there. Another Easter egg hunt but there is always a HUGE effort in getting every single little boy and this year girl in a picture (the girls are friends of the family) and looking.

Another search for Easter eggs in a new unfamiliar place but this time there was a need for Mommy and Daddy to help out. So willing with a little, tiny fingers wrapped around my one, big finger we were on our search. We found more eggs to open and eat more candy goodness. Exhausted but not willing to give up, the boys took a jump in the jumping house in the garage before heading to Fairbury.
In Fairbury we showed up just in time to see and play with Papa Redennick and Mama Redennick. Although Griffin was out like a light for part of the fun, we really enjoyed getting to see them and even got more candy and little individual little toys to match each little boy. I was more exhausted then the boys by the time we got home but was so glad that we could make it to see most all of our families on Easter.
