Gavin and Griffin had their last day of school not too long ago. I wanted a good picture of their last day but Gavin wasn't really interested in cooperating that morning. Griffin was as happy as could be. He is ready to move to Gavin's school. Although he loved his teacher, he didn't like not being in the same school as Gavin. They are very close and hardly ever apart so this was a little bit of a hard transition for Griffin this year but he did really well with it. He never did not want to go to school. He went every day without a compliant. Gavin did well too. We picked up his report card a couple of days later and Gavin excelled in Math. He has been doing a lot of math with me at home. He will ask "Is 15+15=30, Mom!" He has an amazing memory so this works really well for him. We even have homework over the summer. I'm actually excited about it. In the end, it will be a book about his summer with his handwriting and picture. Super cute idea. We have started but haven't gotten too far with it. They are really looking forward to their summer together and being with Garrett most all of the days. Summer is here and we are all excited!!
