It is official Griffin is catching Gavin in the weight department. Griffin weighs 25.8 lbs and Gavin weighs 27.5 lbs. Watch out big brother here I come! (this is the sign they put on Griffin's birth announcement at the hospital and it is so true).

Birthday boy
Well Griffin's birthday didn't really go as planned. He was sick. Who wants to be sick on their birthday especially their first birthday, where little 1 year olds get to dig into their very first birthday cake? He missed it all because he didn't fell well. His fever started in the middle of the night, he got a really high fever and then by morning it was back down a little bit. By 4:00pm this afternoon it was back up to 104.0 degrees so I took him into Dr. A. He has another ear infection so he is getting medicine for it. He did get to open and play with his first Tonka truck toy. He liked the box better than he liked the actually gift. Even with feeling so crummy, he smiled.

Poor Guy! I hope he gets to feeling better soon. Happy 1st Birthday Griffin, hard to believe it has been a year already.
Oh that is too sad, but at least you got a picture of him smiling on his 1st.
