Exactly 1 Year Ago Today

1 year ago today, I was still pregnant. I went into the doctor's office around 11:00 am for my weekly check up. Dr. A said everything was going perfectly. I told her that I was in some pain and I would really like to go today if I could. She surprising said, "I have tomorrow off so lets go in and hopefully you will have him by the middle of the night!" Dr. A said that I could go to the hospital when I wanted and to take my time so that I was relaxed by the time that I got there. I was so excited that I barely got out of the office before I called Kerry and asked him if he was ready to be a dad to his second son. He wanted to work the full day as did I so I went back to work and got things cleaned and cleared up for the time being. I was there until 4:00 and by the time that Kerry got home, I had packed the bag (we didn't have the bag packed long before hand like we are suppose to-opps!)and was ready to go to the hospital. I got there around 6:00 or 7:00 pm and they started me on patostin. I received my pain drugs shortly before 10:30-11:00 pm. After much pain and lots of work, I had Griffin by 4:32 am, October 2, 2007. I was thrilled to see a healthy BIG baby!! He weighed in at 9lbs 6 ozs. He didn't have a name for a short period of time but Griffin was the only name discuss so it stuck. We had decided a while before he was born that Samuel was going to be his middle name after my dad so Griffin really did go well with it. Dr. A was surprised to see that I had such a large baby but I was overjoyed to say the least that he was big and healthy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRIFFIN SAMUEL TREDENNICK!!!!! You have brought so much joy and happiness into our lives just as Gavin has. Boy!, does the time go by fast when you are having so much fun. Love ya Griffy!!
