Last night about 6:00 pm, we received word from the doctor at Bromenn that Mama wasn't getting any better so they were going to transfer her to St. Francis in Peoria. The doctor doesn't think the medicine for the Gullain-Barre is working for Mama which happens at times so they would like to try something else. She showed up at the ICU around 8:45 to 9:00 pm. and we were shortly after. The thought last night was to start plasma recovery which is from my understanding they take the plasma from your blood, filter it through a machine to clean it, and then put the clean plasma back into her body. The doctor was going to see her last night. We left at around 10:00 pm and she hadn't been in but the nurse assured us that she would be in and they would have a plan of action from there that would start last night. We feel she is in the best hospital around and that hopefully things will begin to make the turn for the better. Please continue prayers for her.
Papa Steeler is recovering well. Just tired a lot....
