Penny

So I hope I haven't lost the people who check my blog. I haven't blog in 9 days so I will try to make up for it this week. So keep checking back....

On Saturday we went to Mama Dolphin's to spend some time with her and Papa Steeler. Earlier on Saturday morning, I had given Griffin some spare change I found. He loves to put things in his pocket so we shoved the change down in pocket and he was tickled to pieces. When we got to Mama's I had totally forgotten about it until somehow he wringled his fingers down into his pocket to show Gavin his money. They were playing with it on the floor while I was looking for a recipe. Gavin told us that Griffin put a penny in his mouth, thankfully he watches everything. Before we knew it Griffin was choking on it. We paniced. Matt Matt tried patting him on the back. He can't get it up nor could he get it down (not that we wanted it to go down but being stuck was not good either). He started to puke and still no penny and it was still stuck. He pukes again and still no penny. It came to me that when Gavin was a baby one of the nurses showed me how to treat an infant or toddler if they have something stuck in their throat. So I tipped him upside down on my arm and hit him on the from the middle of the back forward and thank God it came out. He was scared as much as we were. We never want to experience that again so therefore no more spare change for Gavin and Griffin.
