Every year we make the long trip to Tanner's Orchard to the pumpkin patch. This year was no different other than there weren't as many pumpkins and I spend a whole lot less money this time around.
LOL! I love the fall and all the decorations that go with it so in years past I have spend too much money there but not this year. Anyways, the boys had a great time. They both thought the trip was a little too long by their fussing and a little bit of whining but in the end it was worth it. Gavin was so busy in the play area this year. He wanted to do everything and basically could without help. Griffin on the other hand surprised me and was a little timid for some reason. It could have been the number of people or just that he would have to share. Both have their own personalities which is makes them them. Gavin was all about this huge slide and climb tower. I think he could have played there all day. Of course, the first thing they both hopped on was a Ford tractor, Sorry Papa 4 wheeler no John Deere at this place. Griffin was driver most of the time and Gavin bossed him around telling him where to plow and plant. Amazing how much they pick up. Gavin went in the ship, fire truck, bus, hay maze, bulldozer, tractor, and anything else you could climb in and around and slide down. Griffin loved these things called a
barrel ride. At first Gavin was really interested to go with Griffin but he soon got too nervous. The year before as the tractor was going he tried to bail out. So I was a little worried about Griffin doing the same but Griffin wanted to go for a "tractor ride" and wasn't the least bit phased by the whole thing. Anything to get to be on farm equipment. He went and loved it. He just hung out in the
barrel and was along for the ride. I think he was the smallest of everyone there on the ride. He loves to drive as well so the steering wheel was an added bonus for him. While Griffin was on the ride Gavin hopped on the fire truck and ever since has told me that he is going to be a fire fighter. He looked so cute up there and then he started to tell me all the parts of the firetruck and what fire fighters do for others. He has been talking about it ever since.

I decided to try a collage for the rest of the pictures. Enjoy!

This big picture of Gavin is my favorite.
