Sunday after the boys spend the night at Papa 4 wheeler's and Mama Kathy's house for the first time, we decided to go to the Threshermen's Parade in Pontiac. It was my first time, as well as the boys' first time. It was the most beautiful day and perfect weather for the parade. Both of the boys were so tuckered out they fell asleep on the way over there but soon woke up with all of the commotion and noises the tractors were making. The parade started where we sat which was great. Griffin choice of seat was me most of the time but we still enjoyed talking about all of the tractors coming down the road.

Gavin's decided his favorite seat was on Papa Hurt Leg's shoulders. It is a far better view up there when there are people in front of you and you aren't so big to see over them.

Both the boys discovered towards the very end that they were throwing candy out so they finally warmed up to the idea of getting closer to get some.

It was a great parade. I don't think I have ever been to a parade as long as that one but we will be sure to go again next year. Probably get way more candy next year than the one piece we got this year.
