The boys have been sick so they haven't been sleeping well. On Thursday night, Gavin was up a couple of times and then at a different time Griffin thought it was his turn. On Friday night, Griffin got up in the middle of the night and started to scream. He was so upset and we couldn't figure nor calm him down. He kicked, screamed, and cried for an hour straight. Talk about wanting to make your mom cry, I was about to cry just because I couldn't figure out how to help him or what was wrong. If I walked with him he was alright but once I tried to lay him down he was back at it. Finally sometime too early in the morning for me to tell, he finally went to sleep for a while. On Saturday, Gavin was up again twice and then Griffin decided to take his turn to get up. He was up from 1:30 to 3:00 in the morning and finally at 4:00 am I got in bed with him. Yes I admit I have crawled in bed with my boys and even in the crib because Kerry doesn't allow kids on our bed which is great but when I need sleep I have to get in their bed. It isn't the most comfortable but if it calms my kids for the time being I will do what it takes. I was realized that he finally fell asleep and was down for a while. Last night he finally slept through the night. We aren't sure what brought this all on, but I feel awful for both of them and makes us all tired. It might have been because they were sick or because we had company and they wanted to see what they were doing while the boys were asleep but I hope we are back to sleeping through the night soon. Cold nights and warm bedding is suppose to make you sleep better, right?

ahh...I hope you have some restfull nights to make up for the other kind. Flannel sheets and soft quilts & warm PJ's sure makes it hard to get out inthe morning!
