Weekend Guest

Last weekend we had guest from Nebraska stay at our home. Dan, Heather, Ashton, and Addison came for a visit and to attend a wedding. Heather is originally for Fairbury/Forrest and we used to be neighbors when we both lived with our parents. When we were younger Heather and I were inseparable. Some many great memories and great times from back in our younger, crazier days. We got the pleasure of hosting them for a couple of nights. They boys love their kids. They are all ornery in their own little way which is to be expected.

We finally got them all to sit still long enough for a picture. Most of the time they were running from the basement to the top floor and back again. It was so funny to watch and then we wished that we had so much energy.

All of them got on Dan for a horsy ride. My two stayed on for the longest.

The last evening that they were here, I made a nice ALL homemade meal of chicken and noddles with dessert. I think everyone enjoyed it. After dinner and clean up, we all played Wii. We wore out the kids so they would sleep well and be ready for the next long day for them. We so can't wait for them to come back. It is so nice to get together with great friends. It seems as though you start right off where you last left off last
