Catching up

Well Monday Griffin got his beautiful John Deere cast on (look closely in the photo)and he did great.  They even X-Rayed it again after putting on the cast to make sure that nothing had moved.  He will have the cast on for 4 weeks but he hasn't complained about it one bit.  A time or two he may ask when he gets it off but other than that he does great.  He eats and writes with his left hand now which will be interesting to see what happens after he gets the cast off.  I can't wait to see what hand will with continue to use.  Our dinner room table may be sawed in half by the time it has to come off but oh well.  He is more particular about who signs his cast and who doesn't then I ever imagined.  On Saturday night, I thought he would be all about all the racers signing it but he didn't let any racer sign.  It was probably more the lack of sleep for the day so we will see what happens next week.  

Gavin had an eye exam this week for part of his Kindergarden requirements.  He passed, thankfully!!  He couldn't sit still for the life of him during the exam but he really did great.  He even got a sticker and so did Griffin for being a good supporter.  We did his physical last week so his shots are out of the way, all we have left is the denist.  School will be here before we know it.  {tear tear}
