Potty Time

Yes I took a picture of Griffin on the potty. It is a rare occasion for him and I wanted to catch the moment. There is no "parts" showing. I won't do that... We have been working with Griffin for quite some time on going potty on the potty. Just when I think he is ready he rebels. Ugh! So then it seems we take three steps forward and two steps back. The sitter had been able to get him to go on the potty most of the day with her. I don't know how and all that matters was that he was doing it. But now he has even stopped for her. Ugh!

I will do whatever it takes to get him on there at home. Read a book, sing a song, do a dance, absolutely anything and he still is at the rebelling stage. Gavin was trained by now but every child is different. Griffin is our stubborn one and it is obvious with the potty. One day while trying to potty train, he went through five pairs of underwear and pants before I gave up for the day. I even tried to bribe him with a tractor ride but he was a little confusion on whether he got to ride before or after he went potty. So we will continue to work on it especially with spring and summer coming up and the ability to be outside more. Then it is going to be hard core underwear.
