Best Friends

On Friday after work, Griffin came running to me with open arms saying, "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!!!!" He always has the best greetings for me after work that just melt my heart. I pick him up and give him the biggest, best hug and always always finish with a kiss. He says to me, "Mommy you are my BEST FRIEND!" I didn't think I heard him right so I asked him who he said was his best friend and with the biggest smile on his face he says, "You and Me Mommy best friends!" I don't know where it came from but I simply don't care.... My heart melted into a little puddle right then and there.
